Episode 85: Survivor Stories- Gordo

On this edition of Survivor Stories we meet Gordo. Gordo was part of the live stream/PPV film crew. HIs job wasn’t to film the music at Woodstock 99 however, rather, he was charged with filming the craziest people and hi jinx they could find within the concert grounds. We encounter the red man once again and Gordo runs for his life during the chili peppers!

Episode 83- Survivor Stories: James B

Our newest survivor is James Boyd. James had the luxury of going to Woodstock 99 in an RV and also brought a video camera! His footage is as amazing as his story. Hitchhiking, ecstasy, lots of beer, and escaping the fest in cinematic fashion. There is also a good chance he crossed paths with one of our all-star survivors!

Episode 82: Survivor Stories- Babu

Our latest survivor Babu had the unique experience of actually working at Woodstock 99. Employed by a veteran tie-dye shirt salesman, Babu got the all star treatment at Woodstock 99, showers, private bathroom, an RV, the works. However, all of the comforts of being a vendor at the festival quickly fell to the wayside when things take a turn for the worse on Sunday night.

Episode 78: Andy Dick

It’s 2024 and we are still uncovering Woodstock 99 gems! Thanks to our repeat guest and Woodstock 99 Survivor, Andy, we have unearthed footage of Andy Dick’s performance. This episode we discuss the newly discovered footage of Andy Dick’s performance on the East Stage. From nudity, vulgarity, and lack of hilarity, it has it all! Check out our patreon for the video!

Episode 76: Survivor Stories- Anthony

This is a fully stacked survivor story complete with medic tent visits, clear memory of events, fear, and fire. Anthony’s story is a great example of why we continue to do this show. How did he manage to score multiple free gatorades at a festival known for it’s price gouging? Tune in to find out!

Episode 73: Survivor Stories- Tom and Dave

This week we have a very rowdy and spectacular surivor story for you. We welcome back Dave aka the dude that got arrested and welcome his brother Tom. Tom went to Woodstock 94 and could not wait for 99. HIs story serves to fill in some of the blanks Dave ran into when telling his side of the story. Tom had a killer time and he wants everyone to know it!

Episode 71: Survivor Stories: Dave

Well folks, according to Ryan, this very well could be the mother of all Survivor Stories. Dave appeared in the often referenced by us Vh1 series “100 Most Shocking Moments in Rock and Roll” where he gives a brief jail house interview. Why was he in jail? Well, it’s because he got arrested at Woodstock 99. Other highlights include naked roller blading, toxic waste baths, and being front row for Korn.

Episode 70: Survivor Stories: Brad

Our survivor this week is Brad. Brad worked at Woodstock 99 as a runner for Pilar Law, Michael Lang’s assistant and was charged with such duties as picking up Jimi Hendrix’s sister from the airport, delivering celebrity announcer credentials, and vendor checks. Brad had the most interaction with Michael Lang of any of our survivors and over all had a pretty positive take away. Good vibes in this story for sure!

Episode 69: Survivor Stories: Brett Katz

Brett wanted to be episode 69 in honor of Woodstock. We were happy to oblige. Brett was a bit of a cautionary tale. The phrase it’s a “marathon not a sprint” comes to mind. Fresh off a puppy love heart break, Brett was ready to dive head first into some new experiences. He also describes how Woodstock temporarily altered his psyche.
